Having the correct mind set going into this New Year about your physique goals is instrumental. If you have a mind set that the reason you are at this certain weight or at this certain body measurement is because you are ‘Husky,’ ‘Muscular,’ ‘Big Boned,’ or ‘Full sized,’ will cause you to never achieve your physique goals.
For instance, if you are accepting that the only reason your BMI(Body Mass Index) results are off the charts is because you are Big Boned or Full sized, is an incorrect mind set toward achieving your goals.
What does it mean to be Big Boned or Full Sized anyway? Of course everyone’s bone structure is different. Some people have small, medium and large bone structures, but there is no need to blame your slightly increased bone structure with your excess weight gain.
Secondly, what does Full Sized mean? When I hear the term Full Sized, I relate it to buying a new car and the car salesman sells me a Full Sized car with all the options. It’s much bigger and spacious with all the options. I find this derogatory remark to be very hurtful; especially toward women.
Where and when did compromising terms like this begin? Being that adult and childhood obesity numbers are still high in percentages world wide, it’s definitely hard to pin point where and when this epidemic began.
Nevertheless, you don’t have to settle with false compromising terms such as being Big Boned or Full Sized. Come to a reality of where your physique is right now, make NO EXCUSES, and get started now on making a lifetime sustaining decision on getting back to your desired weight and size this year.
