The Sterling Effect will be holding several YOUTH Conditioning Practices throughout the summer starting May 21st and running throughout July. These practices are for ages 10-19 years.  On the weekdays, the times will be from 5pm-6pm.  On Saturdays, the times will be from 11-12.   The cost is $10 per practice. Can’t make every one of the practices? That’s OK! Just pay for the sessions that you attend.  PAY AS YOU PLAY!

All practices will be held outdoors at various locations in Cape Girardeau, MO such as the local track, cardiac hill, cape county park, etc.  Each day we will announce the location of the practice on our facebook page: The Sterling Effect at 8am, noon and 3pm.

Youth Conditioning Practices - Cape Girardeau Personal TrainerBeneficial for ALL SPORTS!  Football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer, etc.  Whichever sport requires you to improve your agility, speed, power, vertical, endurance, etc.  These conditioning practices will benefit you tremendously!

We will be implementing

  • ladder work
  • explosion work
  • 4-6 cone agility work
  • speed work
  • jump work
  • body-weight exercises (push-ups, bodyweight squats)
  • core work
  • endurance work

Bottom line: Your foot work has to improve.  You have to be able to run and to move quickly. You have to train and put your work time in.  If you just go from game to game to game without training, then your strength suffers, your speed suffers, your flexibility suffers.  Most importantly and unfortunately, your risk for injury INCREASES!  Please, invest the time in these two months to get better.

All participants must download and sign this waiver.  Bring it to the first practice you attend.
